The ERA² has been consistently optimized for big air. The more curved outline provides more depower, more precise turning, and additional lift on landing. The increased aspect ratio improves hangtime and efficiency, while the revised arc delivers targeted lift and control. Weight savings at the suspension points keep the kite light and robust. The flight characteristics are fast, direct, and clean – with consistent turning and powerful forward thrust in gusts. Swept-back outline
The key redesign feature is a more swept-back outline. The newly shaped wingtip curves noticeably improve recovery after jumps by creating a second lift, enhance depower capability, and result in smoother, more controlled turning.
High aspect ratio
The aspect ratio was increased from 5.1 to 5.5 – 5.9. The result: significantly more hangtime, better vertical lift, and a longer, more efficient flight path.
Steep arc
The optimized arc with a pronounced C-shape gives the kite an aggressive profile for precise steering and clean power delivery. Reinforcements and attachment points have been redesigned to save weight without sacrificing durability – perfect for intense high-wind sessions.
