Ghost Fishing Net
Our fins respond directly to a strong environmental problem since it concerns the pollution of the oceans by fishing nets found on beaches or in the open sea. Ghost fishing nets represent 10% of the waste found in our oceans and 50% of the plastic of the 7th continent. The concept is broken down into 5 stages, from the recovery of the abandoned nets to the final injection into the mold. The objective is to have a 100% eco-friendly product in accordance with the principles of the circular economy, to transform waste into a new product.
Minimal impact on the Enviroment
To further reduce our impact on the environment, our fins are made in France, near Thiers. We worked with the company APA Injection, a family business which allows us to promote French know-how. The fact of manufacturing these fins locally and using material from Spain allows us to reduce our carbon footprint by 40% compared to 90% of the market that comes from Asia.
