Torq Longboard CS - Futures - 2 + 1 Fin FACTORY SECOND

FACTORY SECOND: This board is part of a limited collection of Factory Second surfboards. These boards function as intended but have a touch more personality. This personality comes in the form of imperfections in the handwork that is involved in making these surfboards. For example, the colour is not perfect, the logo is in the wrong position or there is a minor fault in the finish. In return, you get a great deal on the price. If you can live with these imperfections, these deals are definitely for you!

The 9’1 and 9’6 are more traditional noseriders, focussed on stability and trim. These are excellent for both developing and skilled longboarders aiming for traditional style surfing in smaller waves. Low rockered a wide nose, these are super stable with tons of glide. The 9’1 has a harder rail through the tail with a double concave vee for manoeuvrability. The 9’6 has softer rails and a rolled bottom for classic trim and hold.

Construction - TET CS (Carbon Strip)

The Torq TET-CS, or Carbon Strip is the next level in our Revolutionary Epoxy Technology, using the same advanced TET process with a performance oriented lay-up. The Carbon strip allows us to reduce the lamination thickness but keeps the strength and stiffness, so the boards are lighter, but still super strong.

All TET-CS now feature an additional wood layer sandwich between the two deck biaxial layers. This wood composite is incredibly ding resistant but without adding stiffness usually associated with strength.
